Licensed Employee Family Leave


Employees shall be granted up to (10) days {First (5) days granted by the District and the second (5) days paid from the employee’s accrued sick leave for a total of (10) days} of paid family leave each year, as approved by the building principal, for birth of a child, illness or injury of spouse, child, mother, father, brother, ,sister, grandparent, grandchild, parent-in-law, brother-in-lay, sitter-in-law, daughter-in-law, or grandparent-in-law.  Also, an employee may use these days in case of a natural disaster, as long as the building principal approves it. Family leave granted by the District shall not accumulate from year to year.
